The Town Council for the Town of Winterville will meet in a Special Called Meeting on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Assembly Room to discuss following:

  1. Discuss information concerning grants for the Fire Department

Town Hall Assembly Room, October 4th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM to give citizens the opportunity for
input on the Town’s Greenway Master Plan and an update on the proposed Fork Swamp Canal Greenway.

Drop in any time to share your ideas and talk with the project team to improve greenway
connectivity in the Town of Winterville!

Car Seat Checkup Event

MEDIA ADVISORY

 

What:

A car seat checkup event at Winterville Fire/Rescue, as part of Child Passenger Safety Month.

Nationally-certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians, Safe Kids Pitt County, Vidant Medical Center and Winterville Fire/Rescue will join 500 other locations around the country, to help raise awareness of child passenger safety.

Visuals will include certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians teaching parents how to avoid common mistakes as they install car seats. They will also provide parents with their child’s current height and weight and offer tips and advice about the car seat they are using.

Where: The Cotton Barn, 942 Laurie Ellis Road, Winterville, NC 28590

Registration: Jan 1st - Jan 22nd. Online: www.wintervillenc.com – click departments, parks & recreation, then “online registration & reservation” link; Walk-In Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at the Winterville Operations center (2936 Church St.)

Fees: Residents: $15 per couple/ Non-Residents: $25 per couple; $5 for each additional daughter.

Come out for a night of music, refreshments and fun! Photography pictures will be available on site for purchase.
